At Lotz Custom Carpentry Inc, we believe in creating a better home by doing better work. We provide full-service production on every project, from initial meetings to inspections and design, through the build, and even deep cleaning when we walk out the door. Our experienced crews will handle everything, demolition, framing, insulation, drywall, painting, tile and stonework, flooring, finish carpentry and much more. We only use licensed and insured sub-contractors when needed for electrical, mechanical, plumbing and roofing. We truly cater to the homeowner during the entire construction process.
We are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, including experience with framing, finishing, and installation of various materials. The Lead Carpenter will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring that all work is completed according to plan and on time. The successful candidate will also be able to effectively communicate with clients and other team members, and will have a passion for creating high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, metal, and other materials.
- Read blueprints and drawings to determine the specific requirements of a project.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment such as saws, hammers, levels, and drills.
- Perform carpentry work such as framing, roofing, siding, drywall installation, and trim work.
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
- Ensure that all work is done according to local building codes.
Qualifications:
- Experience with residential deck construction including composite and PVC materials
- Experience with kitchen and bath remodeling
- Knowledge of framing techniques
- Trim carpenter /general remodeling/ rough framing
- Ability to understand and work with new products
- Excellent client relations
- Valid Driver’s License

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
