Our growth has been driven by relationships, referrals, and long-term partnerships with trusted local businesses. We are looking for a well-connected, outgoing professional to help us continue building those relationships throughout the Austin area.
About the Role
The Driftwood Ambassador / Strategic Partnerships Representative will introduce Driftwood Builders Roofing to homeowners, business owners, real estate professionals, property managers, insurance professionals, home-service companies, and other potential referral partners.
This is a flexible, part-time position that is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, attending local events, developing relationships, and connecting people with a reputable local contractor.
This is not a traditional door-to-door roofing sales position. The primary focus is building genuine relationships, generating qualified opportunities, and creating long-term strategic partnerships.
Compensation
This is a commission-based position with significant earning potential:
- 5% commission on the gross profit from sales you directly bring to Driftwood
- 5% commission on the gross profit from sales generated through strategic partnerships you establish
- Ongoing commission opportunity from productive partnerships, subject to the terms of the compensation agreement
- Approved networking and business-development expenses may be reimbursed
For example, a partnership that consistently generates two completed roofing projects per month could create substantial recurring annual commission income.
Responsibilities
- Represent Driftwood Builders Roofing at networking events, community events, business organizations, and local gatherings
- Develop relationships with real estate agents, property managers, insurance agents, home-service companies, restoration companies, investors, and other strategic partners
- Introduce homeowners and businesses to Driftwood’s roofing and exterior services
- Identify sponsorship, referral, and community partnership opportunities
- Schedule introductions and meetings between potential partners and Driftwood’s leadership team
- Maintain consistent communication with referral partners
- Track introductions, leads, opportunities, and partnership activity
- Represent the Driftwood brand professionally and honestly
- Help strengthen Driftwood’s visibility throughout the Austin community

Previous roofing or construction experience is not required. We can teach you the industry. Strong character, communication skills, and relationship-building ability are more important.
