We are seeking an energetic, organized, and compassionate Assistant Director to help lead our O'Fallon center. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced childcare professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist with the overall management and daily operations of the center
- Support staff recruitment, scheduling, training, and development
- Help implement and oversee age-appropriate curriculum programs
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and center policies
- Assist with enrollment, parent communication, and administrative duties
- Support classroom staff and step into classrooms as needed
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and educational environment
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous childcare, preschool, or daycare experience required
- Experience in a leadership role such as Assistant Director, Director, Supervisor, Lead Teacher, or Manager preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using technology and learning new software programs
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Class E Driver's License preferred
