SJM Custom Cabinetry is a established and continual growing cabinet/millwork fabrication and installation company that is looking for an experienced and self motivated cabinet designer to add to our professional staff. Our reputation of producing superior products installed by our professional staff has continued to solidify our relationships with long term clients and builders. A minimum of 2 years of cabinet design is preferred but we are willing to train the right individual with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Starting pay will depend on the individuals work ethic and experience he or she has. Must be able to review projects with managers, homeowners, and contractors and work together to complete projects efficiency, accurately, and professionally. Good attendance and a great attitude is a must for this position. Must have valid drivers license and good driving record. 40-45 hour work week with overtime after 40 hours.
Job details are ability to read and interpret construction plans , proficient with Cabinet Vision software or simular, strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and knowledge of building materials, cabinet construction methods, and installation processes (preferred).
