Job Overview
We are seeking friendly and motivated Counter Help to join our team in a extremely fast-paced auto service environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, possess basic social skills, and be comfortable working in a high volume place.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with any questions they have.
- Answer phone calls. High volume of phone calls.
- Operate a cash register and card processor.
- Manage cash handling accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations
- Learn about after market products for vehicles (lift kits, wheels, hitches, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas.
- Must be able to multi task.
- Support inventory management by entering in product and removing it as needed.
- Customer satisfaction is very important.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, automotive industry, or parts is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail transactions
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
