Belleview Montessori School is growing! As our enrollment continues to increase, we are excited to be opening a new classroom for children ages 2–4 and are looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic full-time Preschool Teacher to join our team.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an educator who enjoys working with young children and would like to become an important part of a growing Montessori school. The teacher will have the opportunity to help establish a new classroom, create a beautiful and welcoming learning environment, and build strong relationships with children and their families.
We are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing, reliable, and genuinely enjoys helping young children develop independence, confidence, social skills, and a love of learning.

Responsibilities
- Create a warm, safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment for children ages 2–4
- Help prepare and organize a new classroom for its students
- Guide children through daily routines and classroom transitions
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development
- Present age-appropriate Montessori and Montessori-inspired activities
- Encourage independence, concentration, responsibility, and respect for others
- Observe children's development and document their progress
- Communicate professionally and positively with families
- Maintain a clean, beautiful, organized, and prepared classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and school administration
- Follow all school policies, licensing requirements, and health and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children
- Genuine love for working with young children
- Patient, calm, dependable, and professional
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to establish positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Ability to work independently while also being part of a team
- Florida DCF training requirements completed or willingness to complete all required training
- Montessori experience, training, or certification is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to learn Montessori philosophy and classroom practices
We welcome applicants from traditional early childhood education backgrounds who are interested in learning more about the Montessori method.
Schedule
Full-time | Monday–Friday | No evenings or weekends
Compensation
$18.00–$22.00 per hour, based on education, experience, qualifications, and Montessori training.
