About the Role
As a Quality Metrology Technician, you will serve as a critical link in our manufacturing process by ensuring that precision components meet rigorous quality benchmarks. You will leverage your technical expertise in programming and measurement to drive product excellence and support continuous improvement across our production floor.
Responsibilities-
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex inspection programs using advanced software like PC-DMIS or Calypso to ensure high-precision results.

Execute detailed dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, validating compliance with engineering blueprints and GD&T requirements.

Drive quality outcomes by performing root cause analysis on discrepancies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective corrective actions.

Ensure the integrity of the measurement process by conducting routine calibration verification and maintenance of CMM hardware.

Maintain strict adherence to quality management systems, including AS9100 and ISO9001, to ensure full traceability and documentation accuracy.

Support operational efficiency by correlating automated CMM data with manual surface plate inspection techniques.

Foster a culture of safety and organization by upholding 6S standards and following all site-specific safety protocols.
Qualifications-
3+ years of hands-on experience in CMM operation and programming.

Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting complex blueprints and applying GD&T standards.

Strong technical aptitude with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators.

Proven ability to troubleshoot quality issues and document findings clearly.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Technical school certification in metrology or a related mechanical field.

Direct experience working within AS9100 or ISO9001 certified environments.

Advanced proficiency in PC-DMIS or Calypso software suites.
