Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced sub contractors for a painting company to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential painting , with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work. Please do not apply unless you have 10 yrs experience and have recent references, As a sub contractor , you will be responsible for overseeing painting projects from start to finish, ensuring that all work meets our standards of excellence. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other trades on construction sites. You will need a license and insurance Wear company shirts while on our jobs sites And have company magnets on vehicles We have plenty of work to keep a crew busy year round
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise painting crews on various commercial projects.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
- Apply paint, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate project timelines and tasks.
- Estimate materials needed for projects and assist in construction estimating processes.
- Train and mentor junior painters in techniques such as caulking, drywall finishing, and stucco application.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets company standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial painting with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Knowledge of color theory and the ability to mix paints accurately.
- Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials, including drywall, stucco, and frame carpentry.
- Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of site safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Previous experience in renovation projects is a plus.
