DTC Family Health is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our growing primary care practice. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being an important part of a collaborative healthcare team.
At DTC Family Health, our Medical Assistants are more than rooming staff—they are vital members of the patient care team who help ensure our patients receive exceptional care and support throughout their healthcare journey.
Position Details

Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
- Administer injections, vaccines, and perform point-of-care testing
- Process medication refill requests according to clinic protocols
- Manage patient messages, phone calls, and follow-up tasks
- Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and medical records
- Perform EKGs, spirometry, and other in-office testing
- Support chronic disease management and preventative care initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Work collaboratively with providers, front desk staff, and fellow Medical Assistants to ensure excellent patient care
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant experience preferred 1+ year
- Previous primary care experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR); Athenahealth experience is a strong plus.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic
- Reliable attendance and punctuality

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
