Summary
The Estimator will report to the Manager, and will have the responsibility of quoting customer-supplied steel weldment drawings. This would include steel frames, conveyors, handrails, tanks, and structural steel. Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Estimator Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in steel fabrication estimating
· Minimum of 3 years’ AutoCAD experience
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Office
· Fluent in Blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
· Excellent organizational skills
· Strong math skills
· Good communication skills
Job Duties
· Understand the project requirements
· Review and evaluate cost estimates
· Prepare estimates in detail
· Insure timely completion of estimates
· Maintain Document and Data control requirements
· Maintain Quote files that include revision levels
· Assist shop floor with Set up and Troubleshooting
· Machine verification and process capability
· Assist Process Engineer
· Build relationships with key vendors
· Develop new customers.
