The Behavior Consultant provides assessment, treatment, behavioral interventions, and case coordination/consultation for children and youth. The Clinician will foster positive working relationships with clients, families, providers, and educators.
Basic duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Collaborating with the client’s treatment team to write individualized treatment plans based on their client’s unique behaviors, environmental variables, goals, and assessment results.
- Develop behavior plans, charts and other necessary documents in order to carry out the treatment plan.
- Conduct or assist in conducting current assessments, such as a functional behavior assessment, etc.
- Training/supporting Behavioral Health Technician and Family/caregivers to deliver behavioral interventions.
- Participate in treatment related meetings.
- Perform other related duties
Requirements: A master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Education or related field and one of the following:
- BCBA OR
- BSL OR
- Master's in ABA OR
- Master's in Psychology; Social Work; Education; Counseling and 1 year of experience OR
- Master's in Psychology; Social Work; Education; Counseling; related field and a practicum in mental health.
Must have PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances dated within 1 year of interview.
