*** This opportunity will work on-site at our FlexCare Infusion Center locations in Prescott, AZ. This is a part time, 16 hour a week position that one day required will be Wednesdays, the other day is flexible. Schedule of the center is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. ***
Primary Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including clinical assessments, documentation, and IV therapy for both adult and pediatric patients in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines.
Prepare and compound sterile admixtures for immediate use according to FDA package inserts and FlexCare clinical protocols.
Administer prescribed intravenous and subcutaneous medications and biologics in accordance with provider orders and FDA dosing guidelines.
Monitor patients during infusions and administer medications necessary to mitigate infusion reactions under the supervision of nurse practitioner(s).
Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding patient care and clinical issues.
Assist with the entry, review, and validation of prescriber orders received through referrals or verbal orders.
Review laboratory results and report critical values to referring providers as appropriate.
Participate in the review and maintenance of clinical protocols to ensure ongoing clinical competency and quality of care.
Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with regulatory, clinical, and billing requirements.
Participate in quality assurance activities and support continuous improvement initiatives within the clinic.

Required Qualifications
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona or Compact RN license.
Minimum of 3 years of infusion therapy experience, including management of patients receiving specialty medications such as immunoglobulins and biologics.
Strong IV access and venipuncture skills.
BLS certification required upon hire.
Ability to obtain ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Administration Certification within 90 days of hire.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable regulatory requirements.

The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $52.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
