CB Indy Inc, located in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Relations Representative to represent established humanitarian organizations through direct community outreach. This Relations Representative position focuses on building positive interactions with members of the public, providing clear information about the organizations we represent, and creating meaningful connections within the community.
As a Relations Representative, you’ll spend your day connecting with people face-to-face at local events and outreach locations. Our Relations Representatives introduce organizations and their initiatives, answer questions, communicate key information, and help individuals understand how they can get involved.
Relations Representative Responsibilities
- Work with established nonprofit organizations at community events and outreach locations
- Meet directly with members of the public through face-to-face conversations
- Introduce individuals to organizational programs, initiatives, and community efforts
- Explain information clearly and professionally while answering questions
- Build positive relationships through personable and respectful communication
- Maintain a professional presence while representing partner organizations
- Communicate directly with community members to increase awareness and encourage participation
- Participate in daily outreach activities and community events
Relations Representative Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, events, or other public-facing roles is a plus.
- Ability to initiate conversations with new people
- Professional and personable communication style
- Reliable and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Collaborate with a team dedicated to representing nonprofit organizations in the community
- Willingness to learn and develop new professional skills
Relations Representative Overview:
- This position is a full-time employment position located in Indianapolis, IN. This position is Monday-Saturday, with an average of 40 hours per week working in an in-person, customer service-focused role with customers.
- Average Pay: $51,500 -$62,000 yearly based on performance
- Clients & Products: humanitarian organizations to raise awareness, create conversation and engagement within the local communities, and generate support for causes that create meaningful change.
