E8 Engineering is hiring Wire Harness and Cable assembly technicians for a manufacturing company located in Signal Hill, CA
This is a long-term contract role which offers the opportunity to learn and grow.
Basic Qualifications:
- PC-620 Certified in wire and cable harness assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications for wire harness assembly, and build from drawings
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Reliable, hardworking, and great attitude
- Excellent dexterity and ability to do repetitive, precision work with hand tools
- Ability to measure with a ruler and tape measure
- Experience cutting, stripping, and crimping wire and populating connectors
Physical Requirements:
- Able to life up to 20 lbs
- Able to stand for long periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Soldering Experience preferred
- Space Addendum preferred (doesn't need to be current)
- J-STD certified preferred (doesn't need to be current)
The interview process will include a soldering skills test.
All hires must pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
