REMUDA Motoring is an Austin-based restoration and customization shop specializing in classic vehicles. Our projects range from mechanical repairs and upgrades to complete, six-figure custom builds.
We’re looking for a skilled, hands-on builder to join our team working on classic cars, trucks, and 4x4s. This is not a flat-rate, parts-swap environment. Our work is detailed, varied, and requires real problem-solving.
If you enjoy figuring things out, working with your hands, and taking pride in building something the right way, you’ll fit in here. There are no shortcuts and no production-line mentality.
What You’ll Do:
- Bring classics back to life — mechanical, electrical, and everything in between
- Disassembly and reassembly of full or partial restorations
- Fabrication, modifications, and upgrades
- Work across multiple systems: drivetrain, suspension, electrical, fuel, and more
- Contribute to clean, organized, high-quality builds
What We’re Looking For:
- You’ve spent real time turning wrenches — in a shop or on serious personal builds
- You have strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
- You can think through problems, not just follow instructions
- You know when to work through a problem and when to ask for help
- You take pride in your work, and it shows
- You don’t cut corners, even when no one’s watching
- You’re easy to work with and hold yourself accountable
- Classic car or custom build experience is a big plus
What This Job Is:
- Interesting, varied work — no two projects are the same
- An opportunity to grow your skills across multiple disciplines
What This Job Is Not
- A production shop or flat-rate grind
- Just oil changes and brake jobs
Compensation
- Hourly pay based on experience and capability
- Real opportunity to grow into a key role as our company grows
How to Apply
Skip the generic resume. If you’re the kind of person who enjoys solving problems and building things the right way, we’d like to talk.
Send a short note and include photos or details of projects you’ve worked on. Tell us about one build you’re proud of and what made it challenging.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
