We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Technician to support the repair and maintenance of water and wastewater plant equipment.
Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour DOE
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong safety and work record
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor in all weather conditions and confined spaces
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot pumps, motors (10 HP+), valves, piping, and plant equipment
- Assist with repairs and replacement of motors, pumps, and electrical components
- Diagnose equipment failures and complete repair work orders
- Operate power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance systems
- Work safely in confined spaces and around wastewater systems
- Participate in rotating after-hours emergency call duty
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and safety procedures
- Ability to read schematics, manuals, and work orders
- Basic computer skills for electronic work order systems
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding environments.
