Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders using POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth transactions.
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately while managing retail sales transactions efficiently.
- Prepping food such as Salads, Fruit, Yogurt Parfaits, Chicken Salad, etc. Basic knife skills is a plus.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace.
- Manage food handling responsibilities with attention to proper storage, portioning, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment and supporting food prep tasks during busy hours to keep service flowing seamlessly.
- Assist in helping team members finish tasks as needed.
- Qualifications:
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred; culinary or café experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, handling, and safety management within a food service environment.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing; attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace in compliance with sanitation standards.
- Needs to obtain a ServSafe Food Handler Certificate.
- Must be a reliable team member and have a positive attitude.
- Be available to work Monday through Thursday from the hours of 10-1.
