Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the movement of goods in and out of our facility, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. Your expertise will help us optimize order fulfillment, streamline shipping logistics, and uphold trade compliance standards. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, and inspecting shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners
- Utilize warehouse management systems, and inventory management software to track stock levels, update records, and ensure data accuracy
- Prepare packages for shipment by selecting appropriate materials, labeling items correctly, and adhering to packaging standards for safe delivery
- Conduct inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counts to maintain precise inventory levels across all storage locations
- Assist with order picking & packing processes using order pickers and RF scanners to fulfill customer orders efficiently
- Ensure compliance with shipping & receiving procedures, international trade regulations, and trade compliance standards for all shipments
Qualifications
- Must have proficiency in using warehouse management systems such as Microsoft Excel and such tools
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or inventory management is highly preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes, shipping logistics, and order fulfillment procedures
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment documentation
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory transactions
- Excellent customer service skills to coordinate with internal teams and external carriers effectively
