Experienced DOT Compliance Manager / Truck Dispatcher (Houston, TX)

AIM Global Transport is a rapidly growing Houston-based transportation company specializing in Hot Shot, Flatbed, Step Deck, Conestoga, RGN, and Open Deck freight. As our fleet continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced DOT Compliance Manager / Truck Dispatcher who can manage both fleet compliance and daily dispatch operations.
This is NOT an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who has successfully managed compliance and dispatch for 25–30+ trucks and can work independently with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in both DOT compliance and truck dispatching.
* Experience managing compliance for 25–30 or more trucks.
* Extensive knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations.
* Strong understanding of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
* Experience managing and auditing ELD systems and driver logs.
* Ability to identify and correct HOS violations before they become compliance issues.
* Experience maintaining Driver Qualification (DQ) Files.
* Knowledge of:
* Annual inspections
* IFTA
* IRP
* Vehicle registration
* Insurance compliance
* Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
* Random drug testing programs
* MVR monitoring
* Medical certificates
* Driver onboarding and qualification
* Experience preparing for and maintaining DOT audit readiness.
* Ability to keep safety scores low and ensure company compliance.
Dispatch Requirements
Applicants must have current dispatching experience.
You must have experience:
* Dispatching Hot Shot, Flatbed, Step Deck, Conestoga, and Open Deck freight.
* Using TruckStop Pro and ITS Dispatch (Required).
* Booking freight from load boards.
* Negotiating rates with freight brokers.
* Planning profitable lanes.
* Reducing deadhead miles.
* Maximizing revenue per truck.
* Tracking drivers throughout the day.
* Managing multiple drivers simultaneously.
* Coordinating appointments with brokers, shippers, and receivers.
* Solving service issues quickly and professionally.
Administrative Responsibilities
* Process paperwork to ensure invoices are submitted correctly.
* Maintain organized load documentation.
* Communicate with factoring companies when necessary.
* Ensure all compliance records remain current.
* Assist with driver orientation and onboarding.
* Monitor equipment documentation and expiration dates.
* Help maintain company safety standards.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
