JOB PURPOSE:
Under the direction of the Medical Practice Manager, this position performs
routine medical assistant functions as well as other required tasks. Under the
supervision of the DTC Clinical staff Medical Assistant will perform venipuncture
and finger blood, including drawing, capping, and labeling of blood specimens,
as well as performing EKGs.
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Weekly Hours: 40
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical technician training.
Vision screening training.
Experience: At least one (1) year of venipuncture experience, preferably with
the elderly population. Must be computer literate.
License/Registration: Medical Assistant Certification (must be certified
Phlebotomist); EKG.
Other:
- Superior customer service skills, friendly, outgoing personality, tactful
- Ability to speak Cantonese, Mandarin, or Fuzhounese
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
