Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Assistant Intern is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals seeking hands-on experience in accounting and finance operations. This role provides practical training in accounts payable processes, administrative support, and professional office procedures within a collaborative business environment.
The intern will work closely with the accounting and finance team to learn day-to-day accounts payable responsibilities while developing organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. No prior accounting experience is required; training will be provided.
Essential Functions:

Assist with processing vendor invoices and payment requests

Review invoices for accuracy and proper documentation

Enter invoice and payment information into accounting systems

Organize and maintain electronic and paper financial records

Assist with filing, scanning, and document management

Support the reconciliation of invoices and purchase orders

Qualifications
