Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment regimens in compliance with state and federal regulations, including DEA guidelines.
- Utilize our electronic health record (EHR) system, eMDs, to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals across specialties including gastroenterology, critical care, emergency medicine, geriatrics, and behavioral health to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide telehealth services to expand access to care and support patients remotely while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Assist in case management and coordination of post-acute or home care services for diverse patient populations.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as an APP (NP or PA) with current certification from a recognized certifying body.
- Demonstrated experience working in clinical settings.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems; experience with medical documentation and coding (CPT, ICD-9/10).
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to work effectively with children, seniors in memory or dementia care settings, individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with the California vaccine program, VFC, is desirable.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
