Job Title: Bench Scientist I

The candidate will work with a talented team of scientists to develop innovative protein biotherapeutics to bring curative treatments to patients. The candidate will be a key member of the conjugation chemistry team, responsible for the hands-on execution of bioconjugation experiments. Responsibilities will include the generation, purification, and characterization of bioconjugates.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform routine laboratory activities in support of molecular profiling and bioconjugation projects.
· Handle, prepare, and work with proteins, biological samples, and cell culture materials.
· Prepare solutions, buffers, and reagents following established protocols.
· Execute experimental procedures with accuracy and attention to detail, including pipetting and sample preparation.
· Support bioconjugation workflows under the guidance of senior scientists.
· Receive, organize, track, and maintain laboratory materials, compounds, and inventory.
· Assist with sample allocation, shipping, and general laboratory logistics.
· Maintain accurate experimental records using electronic laboratory notebooks (ELNs).
· Analyze, summarize, and communicate experimental data through reports and presentations.
· Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
· Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members to support project goals.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Chemical Biology, Biomedical Sciences or a related scientific discipline
· Hands-on laboratory experience gained through academic research, internships, industry, or other research environments.
· Experience handling proteins, biological samples, cell cultures, or related laboratory materials.
· Knowledge of fundamental laboratory techniques and scientific principles.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to learn new techniques quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $38.00 - $39.00 per hour
