Our client is seeking a compassionate and skilled Mammography Technologist to join their Women's Imaging department in White Plains, NY. Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and position patients according to established imaging protocols.
- Review images for quality, completeness, and diagnostic accuracy.
- Assist radiologists during breast imaging procedures as needed.
- Perform quality assurance testing and equipment calibrations.
- Document patient information accurately within RIS/PACS and hospital systems.
- Educate patients on imaging procedures while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Maintain compliance with MQSA, ACR, state, and hospital quality standards.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT (M) Mammography Certification
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License
- BLS Certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Ability to obtain advanced Mammography certification within one year if not already certified.
Preferred
- Associate's Degree
- Two (2) or more years of Mammography experience.
- Strong communication, patient care, and organizational skills.
