DIESEL MECHANIC JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY
Diagnose, repair, and inspect armored trucks, or maintain and repair any diesel engine or other company units.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform minor and major repairs on armored trucks and other company vehicles, including brake repairs, charging system repairs, and air conditioning maintenance.

Conduct regular preventive maintenance on armored trucks and other company vehicles, including inspections, tire rotations, and oil changes.

Maintain an inventory of parts and ensure the cleanliness of the workshop.

Collaborate with the repair team to diagnose vehicle issues and plan repairs.

Perform periodic diagnostic tests on armored trucks and other company vehicles.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs completed.

Complete any other task that may be required.
REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or Technical Degree in Automotive Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, and/or Electromechanics

Valid Puerto Rico driver's license, preferably category #8 or #9

Knowledge of computer usage

Experience and/or knowledge of diesel mechanics

Full availability to work on a 7-day schedule
