The Gatesworth, an award-winning luxury senior living community, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of a Day Shift Laundry Attendant / Housekeeper. Pay for this position is $17.50/hour.

This key dual-role position's primary focus is managing resident laundry services, complemented by providing detailed housekeeping for apartments and common areas. Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
Hours: Specific days to be determined with the manager.
Weekend flexibility and holidays are required.
Physical Demands: Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including extensive walking throughout the large facility, standing for long periods, bending, reaching, lifting, and pushing housekeeping carts.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full laundry cycle: washing, drying, folding, and distributing resident clothes, linens, and personal items with meticulous care.
Ensure all laundry is handled promptly, efficiently, and according to resident preferences.
Perform detailed cleaning of resident apartments, including kitchens and bathrooms (dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping, scrubbing, and polishing).
Maintain impeccable cleanliness and sanitation in all common areas, hallways, and facility spaces.
Restock common area supplies (soap, paper products, etc.).
Assist with facility emergencies, spills, and pet cleanups as needed.
Commit to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents
Qualifications:
Experience: 2+ years of professional laundry service, housekeeping, hotel, or senior living cleaning experience required.
Skills: Exceptional customer service and communication skills; friendly and professional demeanor.
Reliability: Proven ability to be a reliable and positive team player.
Transportation: Reliable transportation is required.
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand for extended periods, and perform occasional lifting throughout the workday.
