GCO is seeking a creative and organized Part-Time Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to elevate our brand's online presence. You will drive our digital strategy by creating engaging content, developing a consistent posting schedule, and managing daily distribution across key social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and maintain a strategic communications calendar across all platforms (including social media, e-blasts, press releases, traditional media, and website). Plan posts in advance to ensure a steady, consistent flow of communication and take advantage of seasonal or industry trends.
- Audience Development: collaborate with Development Specialist to grow in-person and digital audience. Growth will be measured in follower count, ticket sales, and donation revenue.
- Advertising: Direct advertising spending in-line with audience development goals and organizational budget
- Digital Media: Design and distribute visually compelling content, including short-form videos, high-quality images, and engaging copy tailored to different platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
- Posting & Distribution: Publish content directly across designated channels. Monitor account performance and adjust execution to maximize audience reach and interaction.
- Community Engagement: Respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions to build an active, loyal community around the GCO brand.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track performance metrics (engagement, follower growth, reach) and report on what types of content perform best.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Strong creative writing skills and a sharp eye for visual design.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Canva, Social Pilot).
- Strong organizational skills with a strict adherence to deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in conjunction with Development Specialist, and Executive Director.

- Job Type: Part-Time, 1099 Contract, Remote
