The Human Resources Generalist supports the organization’s recruitment and benefits programs to ensure effective staffing and employee well-being. This role includes managing full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance activities. The HR Generalist serves as a key resource for employees and management, providing guidance on HR policies, benefits options, and employment procedures. The position requires a proactive approach to attract top talent, promote employee engagement, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Develop, update, and post job openings on various platforms, including job boards, social media, and internal channels, to attract qualified candidates.
Screen resumes and coordinate the hiring process with hiring managers to ensure alignment with organizational staffing needs.
Facilitate reference checks, background screenings, and credential verifications.
Extend offers of employment, prepare employment agreements, and support new-hire onboarding activities to promote a positive candidate experience.
Ensure a seamless onboarding experience, including orientation and initial training, to ensure a seamless integration of new employees.
Assist with open enrollment and employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and wellness initiatives, ensuring accessibility and understanding.
Maintain accurate records of benefits elections, personnel files, and compliance documentation, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws related to recruitment, benefits administration, and recordkeeping.
Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports related to employment practices and benefits programs.
Provide guidance and support to management and staff on HR policies, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Promote a positive workplace culture through employee recognition programs and initiatives that foster engagement and retention.
Assist with HR projects, training programs, and organizational development activities aimed at strengthening workforce capabilities.
Prepare reports and analytics on recruitment metrics, benefits utilization, and HR performance indicators to inform strategic decision-making.
Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and document management, supporting HR operations and compliance.
Contribute to the daily operations of the HR department by handling various administrative tasks, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing prompt responses to employee and applicant inquiries.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, with a focus on recruitment and benefits administration.
Willingness to work with a team that provides outstanding health care services.
Experience with Microsoft word and excel.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular).
Hands-on experience with HRIS or HRMS.
Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases.
Knowledge of labor laws.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
