At Asteria Florals, we believe flowers should feel like a little bit of magic in everyday life. Our shop is rooted in creativity, community, and a modern approach to floral design. We’re looking for a part-time florist to join our team and help bring that magic to life.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves flowers, design, and working in a fast-paced but creative environment. You’ll be supporting daily shop orders, weddings, events, and our signature flower classes. Every day looks a little different — from designing arrangements, to prepping for large events, to helping customers find the perfect bouquet.
Responsibilities
- Create floral arrangements in our signature Asteria style (training provided on technique + vibe)
- Prep, clean, and process flowers
- Assist with shop sales and customer service
- Help with event + wedding production (prep work, arranging, on-site installs as needed)
- Keep the shop and workspaces tidy and organized
What We’re Looking For
- Some floral experience is required — a strong eye for design and willingness to learn is essential
- Someone who thrives in a creative, team-oriented environment
- Comfortable working on your feet and handling physical tasks (lifting buckets, moving arrangements, etc.)
- Flexible availability, including some weekends for events and classes
- A love for flowers, design, and community

Schedule: Part-time (10-20ish hours per week, with potential for more during busy wedding/event seasons)
Pay: $17–$20/hour depending on experience
