Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Diagnose electrical system faults, including high voltage and low voltage circuits, utilizing electrical diagnostics and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule preventive tasks.
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician tasks, HVAC/R systems, and welding processes.
- Operate field service tools such as scissor lifts safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach machinery components.
- Read electrical schematics and blueprints accurately to facilitate repairs and modifications in accordance with safety standards.
- Support equipment repair projects involving hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with installation of new machinery or upgrades by following technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Provide exceptional customer service by collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including troubleshooting electrical issues using ammeters and ohmmeters; experience with electrical blueprint reading is essential.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, HVAC maintenance, welding (including welding), hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial mechanics.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately for diagnostics and repairs.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician tasks, low voltage systems, high voltage safety procedures, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Valid certification or experience in industrial electrician work; certifications in HVAC/R or welding are a plus.
- Ability to operate field service equipment like scissor lifts safely; valid certification preferred.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex machinery issues efficiently.
- Fluency in English required for clear communication across teams; customer service skills are highly valued.
