Director of Nursing (RN) – Orthopedic Surgery Center

A growing outpatient surgery center in the Charlotte area is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Director of Nursing to lead perioperative services and clinical operations. This leadership position is ideal for an RN with a strong background in orthopedic surgery and experience overseeing surgical services in an ambulatory or perioperative environment.
The Director of Nursing will provide leadership and oversight for the Operating Room, Pre-Op, and PACU while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for all nursing and clinical operations within the surgery center
- Oversee daily operations of the Operating Room, Pre-Op, and PACU departments
- Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, accreditation, and patient safety standards
- Lead quality improvement, infection prevention, risk management, and staff education initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency
- Develop and mentor nursing staff while fostering a positive team culture
- Monitor staffing, workflow, and clinical performance metrics
Qualifications
Required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Surgical services leadership experience
- Strong orthopedic surgery background
- Experience working within perioperative services, including OR, Pre-Op, and/or PACU
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Current ACLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire
Preferred
- Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience
- Previous Director, Manager, or Nursing Leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
