Overview
We are seeking pet lovers with compassion and reliability, to join our team. Candidate MUST live in the west St. Louis county area. (Ballwin, Ellisville, Manchester, Chesterfield, Wildwood) This role involves providing exceptional care and attention to pets while their owners are away or busy. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, strong animal handling skills, and experience in pet care. This position offers an opportunity to work with a variety of animals, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness during their owners' absence.
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging walks for dogs, ensuring they receive proper exercise and mental stimulation
- Offer reliable pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication, and companionship
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets’ needs, behaviors, and any concerns
Requirements
- Prior experience with dog handling, pet sitting, or animal care is preferred
- Familiarity with animal restraint methods and the different devices is preferred
- Strong customer service skills to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners
