Job Summary
Local CDL Class A Truck Driver , take charge of delivering asphalt , gravel efficiently and safely across local routes. You will be the vital link in ensuring timely deliveries, load & unload operations, and route driving that keeps our operations running smoothly. If you take pride in providing excellent service, this position is perfect for you! Drive a manuel tri-axle peterbilt dump truck hauling gravel and asphalt and hauling a flat bed trailer with asphalt paving equiptment on it you will be loading and unloading the equiptment with help.
Duties
- Load and unload asphalt
- Deliver asphalt promptly to designated locations while adhering to route schedules and safety standards.
- Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or other specialized trailers to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers
Experience
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid CDL Class A license for local driving routes.
- Hands-on experience operating manual transmission trucks and , flatbeds, dump trucks
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards set by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
