Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patrons and staff, ensuring smooth entry and exit processes.
- Verify patrons are of age to be on premise, perform bag checks, and conduct metal detector screenings using hand-held metal detecting wands.
- Verify tickets, reservations, or passes to control access points efficiently.
- Conduct regular patrols of the venue to identify security risks or safety issues proactively.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies with appropriate conflict management techniques and first aid if necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical situations to ensure swift resolution.
Requirements
- Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations
- Experience in security, event work, or related fields. (preferred)
- Certifications in first aid and CPR to effectively handle medical emergencies on-site. (preferred)
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during.
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
