We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes and improvements based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including knives, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Support food service operations by plating dishes efficiently and accurately for service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation during busy hours
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure quality control
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and food service best practices
- Excellent understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and support serving efforts

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
