American Traveler is seeking an experienced acute care Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years of inpatient adult speech and swallow experience for a 13-week hospital assignment in Pomona, CA.

Inpatient acute care hospital setting
-
Focuses on adult speech, swallow, and language/cognitive assessments and treatment
-
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm or 9am–6pm (1-hour lunch)

5x8-hour shifts per week

Every 3rd weekend required

Valid and unrestricted SLP license (license required if applicable)

Minimum 2 years of inpatient adult speech and swallow experience

Acute care hospital experience required

MBSS certification preferred

Current BLS certification
-
Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care addressing swallowing, language, and cognitive status
-
Treat adult acute care patients in an inpatient hospital environment

Business casual attire with a white lab coat required

All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
