Growing compressor company is currently seeking a self-motivated field Service Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs on air compressor and related equipment.The ideal candidate would be a self-sufficient, hardworking, honest and motivated individual with the desire to provide the best solutions for our customer's maintenance and repair needs. Experience with Atlas Copco or other rotary screw compressors a plus. But, willing to train a mechanic with the proper skill set. Job Description
The qualified candidate will be responsible for:

Trouble shoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair air compressors

Delivery, pick-up, and set-up of air compressors

Assist in on-site project management

Maintain shop area, tools, and all company owned equipment

Produce timely and detailed service reports and other related paperwork

Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and customers
Qualifications
Requirements:
-
1 to 2 years in the mechanical field, performing preventative maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment, preferably compressors

An electrical/plumbing/mechanical aptitude

Excellent communication and problem solving skills
-
Ability to be self-directed in order to perform with little supervision

Owning hand tools
-
Military experience in air compressor is a plus

Clean driving record (required)

A satisfactory background check per Company guidelines (required)

Refrigeration certification (a Plus)
