Looking for nurturing, educating, lead infant teacher!
An Infant Teacher will provide a nurturing and safe environment for infants to develop and reach age-appropriate milestones. You will demonstrate good judgment in the care and play with each infant assigned to you. You will verbally engage the infants throughout the day in addition to incorporating play activities. You will maintain the feeding schedule with the bottles and solids provided by the parents.
Responsibilities for Infant Teacher
- Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants in his/her care
- Give bottles to infants as provided by parents
- Feed infants' solid foods as age-appropriate and provided by parents
- Change diapers as needed
- Soothe infants by singing to and cuddling them
- Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age-appropriate toys
- Put infants in cribs for nap time
- Ensure play, sleep, and changing areas are kept clean
Qualifications for Infant Teacher
- Completion of the Early Childhood courses required by the state of North Carolina.
- Meet annual professional development requirements, per state regulations
- Ability to do a background check and TB test.
- A caring individual who enjoys teaching young children
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Extended periods of time sitting on the floor
- Ability to work a shift between 8:00 am _ 6:00 pm
- Reliable transportation to the Child Care center
- Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents
Positions Available
- Infant Teacher (Under 12 months)
- Infant Floater/ Breaker (6 weeks to 12 months)
- Infant & Young Toddler Floater (6 weeks to 2 years)

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
