DXT Partners is looking for a reliable, hands-on Multi-Site Operations Specialist to support our self-storage and RV/boat storage facilities throughout the Houston area.
This is a mix of office-based and hands-on field work. Most assigned locations have an onsite office, but the role also requires regular property inspections and occasional work at facilities without a dedicated office.
You will serve as our eyes, ears, and hands onsite—inspecting facilities, completing assigned tasks, documenting issues, and communicating what you see to management.
Responsibilities
- Report to the assigned storage facility for the day
- Complete property inspections and checklists
- Take photos and report maintenance, security, cleanliness, and property issues
- Check doors, locks, gates, lights, vacant units, and other property conditions
- Clean out and prepare units for rental
- Perform basic cleaning and light hands-on property tasks
- Meet contractors onsite, provide access, and document completed work
- Handle basic U-Haul rentals and customer service
- Answer calls and assist with basic site operations
- Complete assigned tasks and follow up until finished
- Communicate problems and urgent issues quickly to management
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable reporting to different Houston-area facilities on different days (Mileage reimbursement)
- Hands-on and willing to perform light physical work
- Organized and able to follow checklists and instructions
- Comfortable using a smartphone, taking photos, and updating tasks
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in Houston weather for property inspections and hands-on tasks.
- Ability to walk properties and climb stairs when needed
- Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with light cleaning and hands-on tasks
This is not a traditional office job or a management position. The ideal candidate enjoys being active, working at different locations, completing tasks, and helping keep properties operating smoothly. Management will make higher-level operational and contractor decisions; your role is to execute assigned tasks and provide reliable onsite visibility.
