Duties
- Assist in supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies
- Lead, motivate, and develop retail sales teams through effective training, coaching, and performance management
- Oversee inventory management processes such as stock replenishment, inventory control, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and cashiering activities with accuracy and integrity
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees to build a strong team
- Coordinate purchasing, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to enhance store profitability and customer satisfaction
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues effectively, and maintaining high standards of communication skills
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or assistant management roles within the retail industry, with a strong background in sales team supervision and operational oversight
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory management
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, merchandising techniques, and retail math for accurate pricing and sales calculations
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to manage shift schedules, supervise staff, and foster a positive team environment
- Strong organizational skills combined with effective time management to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively
- Previous experience in grocery stores or wireless sales environments is advantageous but not required
- Exceptional communication skills along with phone etiquette and customer service expertise are essential for success in this role
