Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines, fostering independence.
- Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching strategies aligned with their care plans and supporting their learning needs.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with clients’ families, caregivers, and team members to provide updates on progress and address concerns.
- Adhere strictly to professional ethical standards outlined in the Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s (BACB) Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.

Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or eligibility to obtain certification prior to start date.
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols.
- Strong skills in data collection, medical terminology, and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Prior home-based behavioral experience is highly preferred, along with familiarity working within school environments or community settings.
- Ability to work independently in clients’ homes while maintaining professionalism and ethical standards.
- Excellent client communication skills coupled with patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
