Monday-Friday Availabilities Needed! Weekend Availabilities Welcomed!

As a Lead Behavior Therapist, you will work one-on-one with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their home, schools, daycares, and/or community settings. You will help them develop the life skills necessary to succeed in their communities through our fun and playful intervention model. So here is the offer… a rewarding career helping kids meet their potential! As a Lead behavior therapist you work with children and families in clinic, home, schools, daycares, and/or community settings (outings). You use play and daily routines to teach children with developmental disabilities a variety of skills. Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) we strive to create a world without limits.
Responsibilities of the Lead Behavior Technician:

Work 1:1 in the home or in clinic with the child using ABA and PRT Strategies.
- Document service accurately and timely in-service notes and Central Reach.
- Implement data collection procedures set up by the Case Supervisor to evaluate goal progress.
- Participate in all trainings and evaluations pertinent to his or her scope of practice/job description.
- Communicate frequently and effectively with other team members.
- Attend required team meetings in the regional office or by telehealth measures whenever necessary.
- Collect data on stated objectives and bring appropriate materials (including toys) as needed or to facilitate implementation of goals.
- Follow schedule as determined by administrative staff and supervisors. Maintain a 95% attendance rate for all appointments (i.e., less than 5% cancellation rate).
- Inform appropriate In STEPPS staff in the event that you cannot attend scheduled appointments.
- Comply with all reporting requirements of the company, including all administrative, payroll submissions, billing information, etc., on a timely basis.
Requirements:

High School Diploma and Some completed college units required.

Associates/Bachelor's Degree and Registered Behavior Technician certification preferred, but not required.

Reliable car, proof of auto insurance and valid driver's license required.

Clean criminal background check.
