You will work two days per week, with one day dedicated to K-5 evaluations at the elementary level and the other focused on conducting Pre-K evaluations for four-year-olds districtwide. This long-term assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through June 16, 2027. Compensation for this role ranges from $40 to $45 per hour, tailored according to experience and educational background.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with K-5 and Pre-K populations preferred
- Solid understanding of student assessments, evaluations, and eligibility processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to maintain thorough documentation and adhere to district and federal guidelines
- Flexibility to travel between school sites as required
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for K-5 students at the elementary school
- Carry out evaluations of 4-year-old Pre-K students across the district
- Interpret evaluation results and collaborate with educators and families on intervention strategies
- Offer consultative services to classroom teachers and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
