Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You will handle cash transactions, manage reservations, and provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover.
- Take reservations and handle walk-in guests with professionalism.
- Operate the Linga POS system for processing orders and payments accurately.
- Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assisting guests with inquiries and reservations.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to enhance guest relations.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, striving to resolve any issues that arise.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. *Professional Trainings will be provided*
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with every customer and team members.
- Familiarity with Linga POS or similar point-of-sale systems and Resy as a reservations system is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
