We are looking for a bilingual Homeowners Insurance agent to become part of our family-owned agency. You will sell, solicit, differentiate and negotiate insurance plans that match the needs of our customers. The goal is to build up strong positive relationships, to ensure growth attainment and increase our firm’s reputation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs while providing a perfect consumer experience
- Available to work full time ( Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Excellent level of personal organization skills with superior telephone etiquette and verbal/written communication skills
- Must exhibit confidence and model high level of professionalism and integrity
This is a Property and Casualty Customer Service and Sales position which requires you to be totally comfortable writing Homeowners Insurance.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of client's homeowners insurance needs (policy changes, renewals, payments, billing questions, COIs, etc.)
- Review expiring policies and re-market the policy if necessary
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and insurance company representatives
- Explain coverage's and types of policies, be able to suggest specific coverage enhancements and resolve customer inquires
- Gather information from clients and prepare applications for submission to insurance carriers
- Prepare proposals and insurance summaries based on client's needs
- Support the processes of new business, rewrites, endorsements, cancellations and renewals

Pay: $34,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
