Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Water & Wastewater Electrical Superintendent to oversee the field installation of electrical systems on municipal water treatment plants, wastewater treatment facilities, lift stations, pump stations, and related infrastructure projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing field operations, coordinating crews and subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining project schedules, and upholding all safety requirements.
This position requires strong leadership skills, extensive electrical construction experience, and a thorough understanding of municipal water and wastewater projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all field electrical construction activities.
- Lead and coordinate electrical crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Interpret and implement project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, owners, and general contractors.
- Conduct daily jobsite planning and crew assignments.
- Monitor productivity and manpower requirements.
- Maintain quality control standards and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and schedule impacts.
- Assist with project planning, procurement, and material management.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of electrical construction experience.
- Minimum 3+ years in a Superintendent or Foreman leadership role.
- Experience with water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, pump stations, or municipal infrastructure projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, electrical codes, and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction schedules.
- Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
