We are looking for a reliable and creative Videographer / Camera Operator to work with our team at concerts, dances, live music events, and entertainment events throughout Colorado.
Most of our events involve Regional Mexican music, local artists, musicians, concerts, bailes, and nightlife entertainment.
This position is focused heavily on creating social media content, not simply recording an entire concert.
You will work alongside our on-camera host/content creator to capture interviews, crowd interactions, artist content, backstage moments, reactions, promotional videos, and spontaneous content throughout each event.
Our goal is to leave every event with enough high-quality footage to create multiple pieces of content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
Responsibilities
- Attend selected concerts, bailes, and live events throughout Colorado.
- Work directly with our on-camera host/content creator.
- Film short interviews with event attendees.
- Capture crowd reactions and interactions.
- Film artists and musicians when permitted.
- Capture backstage content when access is available.
- Record promotional content for our platform.
- Capture spontaneous moments that could perform well on social media.
- Follow the host as they move throughout the venue and interview attendees.
- Properly frame subjects during fast-moving interviews.
- Capture clean, usable audio during interviews.
- Capture B-roll throughout the venue.
- Film venue atmosphere, crowds, entrances, stages, artists, and other relevant details.
- Understand when to record vertical versus horizontal content.
- Follow a planned shot list when provided.
- Recognize additional content opportunities without constantly needing direction.
- Organize footage after each event.
- Deliver footage within the agreed timeframe.
- Communicate with our content/marketing team regarding footage and upcoming events.
Social Media Content
A major part of this position is understanding how content is currently consumed online.
You should be comfortable filming content designed for:
- TikTok
- Instagram Reels
- YouTube Shorts
- Facebook
- Promotional advertisements
- Artist interviews
- Street-style interviews
- Behind-the-scenes content
Most interview and short-form content should be captured in vertical 9:16 format unless otherwise instructed.
You should understand how to keep the subject properly framed so captions, graphics, logos, and other elements can later be added during editing.
Types of Content We Will Capture
Examples include:
Attendee Interviews
Our host approaches attendees and asks questions about music, artists, concerts, or our platform.
Platform Reactions
We ask attendees what they think about our platform, whether they would use it, and which artists they would consider booking.
Artist Interviews
Short conversations with musicians and performers when access is available.
Backstage Content
Behind-the-scenes footage with artists, musicians, promoters, and our team.
Crowd Content
Crowd reactions, dancing, singing, entrances, excitement, and atmosphere.
Promotional Content
Videos specifically created to promote our platform.
Organic Content
Unexpected or entertaining moments that happen naturally throughout the event.
Equipment
Preference will be given to applicants who own professional or semi-professional equipment.
Helpful equipment includes:
- Mirrorless or professional camera
- Quality lenses
- Low-light capable camera
- Wireless microphones
- Camera-mounted microphone
- Stabilizer/gimbal
- Tripod/monopod when appropriate
- Portable lighting
- Extra batteries
- Memory cards
- Backup storage
Because many events take place in dark concert venues, experience shooting in low-light environments is strongly preferred.
Please tell us what equipment you currently own when applying.
Audio
Good audio is extremely important.
You should understand how to capture interviews in loud environments using equipment such as:
- Wireless lavalier microphones
- Handheld microphones
- Directional microphones
- External audio recorders
Beautiful video with unusable interview audio does not meet our needs.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience filming events or social media content.

- Is comfortable working in crowded environments.
- Can move quickly while maintaining good framing.
- Understands basic lighting and exposure.
- Understands low-light shooting.
- Understands audio.
- Can follow instructions and shot lists.
- Has creative instincts.
- Recognizes good content opportunities.
- Is dependable and punctual.
- Can work independently when necessary.
- Communicates well with the host and team.
- Is respectful around artists, attendees, venue employees, and promoters.
- Is comfortable working late-night events.

Access varies by venue and event and is not guaranteed for every event.
Editing
Please indicate whether you:
- Film only
- Film + basic editing
- Film + professional short-form editing
Editing experience is preferred but is not necessarily required if your camera work is strong.
Applicants who can edit TikTok/Reels/Shorts should provide examples.
Content Delivery
Footage should be:
- Organized
- Properly labeled
- Backed up until delivery is confirmed
- Delivered within the agreed timeframe
Original/raw footage created for the assignment must be delivered to our company.
Do not delete original footage until we confirm successful delivery.
Work Environment

The selected videographer is expected to remain professional and capable of performing their responsibilities throughout the entire assignment.
Professional behavior around artists, attendees, promoters, and venue staff is required.
