Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sous Chef / Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Assist in supervising daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications, focusing on consistency and presentation
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Lead food preparation activities for various service periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catering events
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with team members to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings
- Manage shift responsibilities such as coordinating staff schedules, overseeing training, and maintaining a positive team environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fine dining kitchens with strong culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques
- Supervising experience in a restaurant or catering setting is highly desirable
- Background in banquet service, dietary departments, or food service management is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent team management and communication skills
- Familiarity with inventory control, food safety protocols, and kitchen management systems
- Experience with menu planning, catering operations, and restaurant experience preferred
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
