Creative Kids Company Seeking Weekend Event Staff for WeHo location!
Are you a kid whisperin’ guru who excels at making families and kiddos feel excited & inspired during events, babysitting, enrichment class experiences and more? HeyCurated, a kid-centered, experience-focused events and education company, is seeking Part-Time Event Staff to work at our weekend kids clubs in WeHo!
We partner with social clubs in WeHo & Malibu to provide group enrichment childcare for member families. Parents remain onsite, and children are over the age of 3 years old and potty trained. Event staff work in teams of 2 on weekends to provide a fun experience with games and craft materials provided. Reporting to the Events Coordinator and Program Director, our Event Staff will be responsible for providing reliable top notch care for kiddos.
This is an awesome opportunity for someone looking to use & grow their experience in events and children’s programming, loves traveling around the city, is quick with communication via email & text, has experience working in events or babysitting and loves being around people and kids!
This is an onsite part-time role with three shifts required per month. Hours are 9:45 am-3:15 pm, Saturdays & Sundays (option to work both days or either), pay is $20 per hour.
Qualifications
- Great people skills, with an interest in children’s events.
- Comfortable traveling to WeHo
- Experience working with children, in childcare or education: 2 years (Preferred)
- High school degree or equivalent (Required)
Responsibilities
- Arriving on time to all scheduled shifts
- Maintaining contact with your team prior to and during events
- Set-up, clean-up, prep and implementation of provided activities and games
- Ensuring child safety, including managing sign-in/sign-outs and monitoring activities
- Correspondence with HeyCurated programming team regarding issues or questions
- Fill out post-report after each shift
