Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA) to join our dynamic team committed to improving the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will design, implement, and evaluate individualized behavioral intervention plans grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Your expertise will support clients across various settings, including home, school, and clinic environments, ensuring they receive compassionate, evidence-based care. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), to identify underlying causes of behaviors and inform intervention strategies
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals and evidence-based ABA methods
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with disabilities in various settings such as home, school, or clinic
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions
- Perform clinical supervision of behavior technicians or assistants, offering guidance on behavior intervention techniques and documentation standards
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and managing medical records accurately
Skills
- Experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral psychological assessments, and functional assessments like FBA
- Proficiency in data collection methods and medical documentation related to patient care and treatment progress
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Home-based behavioral experience is highly desirable for delivering personalized interventions in natural environments
- Excellent client communication skills to effectively explain treatment plans and progress to families and team members
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations, conduct intake assessments, and support autism spectrum disorders through targeted behavior intervention strategies
